I was never good at math in school. I always felt my brain was just not meant for such things. I would tell my teachers "I have a creative brain, not a mathematical brain". The funny thing is that no matter how much I hated math it has always had place in my photography. My brain may not be wired to see how the formulas work on a piece of paper, but I am constantly drawn to the geometry of the world around me. I see the world as a series of shapes and lines, which really isn't that different from many mathematicians at all.
