This is the face of marathon training.
I am nearly seven months into my marathon training now. The transformation from not being able to run a whole mile to 26.2 miles is nearly complete. I have averaged anywhere between 15 and 30 miles a week for most of this time and I have run somewhere in the neighborhood of 600 miles this year. After all this, I still hate running. Well at least for the first twenty minutes or so and then I don't mind so much.
