La Recoleta Cementerio.

This is not your average cemetery. Only the richest and most elite get a final resting place here. Many of the people that helped to shape Argentina as a country are buried here. It has the feel of the famous cemeteries in New Orleans only much more ornate. Some of the crypts are more than two stories tall while others are over eighteen feet deep. Eva Peron is buried here and legend has it that her body is buried so deep and in such an elaborate chamber that it can withstand a direct nuclear blast. People who are actually still breathing should feel so safe.

In many sections you feel like you are stuck in a maze. It's very easy to get lost.

There are feral cats everywhere in the cemetery. This is fitting considering how many cultures view that cat as a protector of the dead.
