I'd say that Texans probably have a higher opinion of themselves than most Americans. We live in one of the few states, whose name can actually be used as a selling point. If you've got a product that you want to give the appearance that it is bigger than average you call it "Texas Sized". If you have a vehicle that you want people to think is tougher than the competition you name it a "Lone Star Edition". If something on your menu is bolder and spicier than the rest you call it "Texas Style". Now the next time you order that sandwich on Texas toast, think to yourself how appealing would it be if the sandwich came on New Jersey toast.

I also noticed in other states they don't hang their flag up everywhere like Texas. we don't notice it here as much anymore but I searched and searched in nevada for their state flag. I wonder if anybody even knows what it looks like...
