That outfit looks a little constricting...

More Mountains, Seriously?

Mountain Skies
This is what happens when you move to Colorado. You slowly loose the ability to photograph anything other than mountains. True story. It's in the Official State of Colorado tourism book and everything.

Turbulence.

Turbulence
I go back and forth with this picture. I love it and I hate it. Either way I can't stop looking at it. It seems to look different every time I see it, constantly in motion.

Hot Springs in the Cold Snow.

Natural Hot Springs outside of Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

One hundred and four degrees in the water, twenty-six degrees out of it. Also, feel free to jump in the unheated ice-covered pond (Polar Bears represent!). Nothing makes you feel more alive than the distinct feeling of hypothermia setting in. Make sure to jump back in the hot side afterwards. Rince and repeat.

When you are surrounded by lanscapes such as these it doesn't really matter if you catch anything.

White Picket Fence Ski Fence.

Ski Town Fence

Forget the white picket fence, that is so last millenium. The people of Steamboat Springs, Colorado know how to make a fence! I'll take a used ski fence any day of the week. Or come to think of it any other used sporting good fence; baseball bats, cricket bats, tennis rackets, canoe ores and hockey sticks. Surely there's more?

Natural Sulphur Springs.

Sulphur Springs

This is seriously the smelliest picture I have ever taken. Trust me, I have photographed my fair share of stinky subject matter; babies, farm animals, hippies. Ever smelled a rotten egg? Yeah, this was about one hundred times as pungent. Luckily Al Gore didn't invent smell-o-vision when he invented the internets. The colors produced by the sulphur totally make it worth the foulness though.
