Panthera Leo, for those of you in the zoology game. These guys are amazing to see up close. Somehow, the Discovery Channel and National Geographic don't quite do them justice. What was amazing to me was that as big as they are they still seem to have a lot of the mannerisms of a common house-cat. Only if your house-cat weighed in at close to 500 pounds and could snap your femur if he so chooses. Here kitty kitty kitty.

We came across this Dall Sheep for the second time that day and as soon as I put the camera up, he made this face. No lie. Such charisma, such charm. I've taken pictures of people who don't look this good in front of a lens. At first I thought he was going to bugle or make some sort noise, but he just stood their...smiling.
